People are looking for a source of safe and regular income. The popular option for youngsters is running a business at home without much investment. Affiliate marketing and drop shipping are two fields available to people preferring to work from home. Affiliate marketing is long-term choice but a slow one to work with in comparison to drop shipping. Affiliate marketing requires generating a database by promotions of the affiliate through internet. Selecting the right affiliate also demands research. However, drop shipping is an instant method to have effective outcome while being astute while selecting the product. Drop shipping in compared to affiliate marketing is risky. However, a fraud can take advantage in both the cases.

Features of affiliate marketing and drop shipping

Affiliate marketing and drop shipping have common striking features. They do not require major expenses, customer service, product shipping, employees, appealing website, product improvement cost or even expenses related to copyright. People believing in instant profit prefer drop shipping. However, people have more faith in affiliate marketing as it is less speculative.

Common Problems associated to both affiliate marketing and drop shipping

The problem associated with drop shipping is the intermediaries. The intermediaries charge for getting wholesalers. This adds to the charges that we pay to those wholesalers directly leaving little profits to enjoy. However, the intermediary receive a fees apart from the one paid by us. The trouble with affiliate marketing is not frauds as in drop shipping. Affiliate marketing requires patience and solid research in the beginning. It demands separating the poor products from the one that are pays little and is less appealing to the consumer. Since there are many affiliates available, taking an intellect decision with proper research leaves us with a tough task in hand. Frauds are still there in affiliate programs but with proper guidance, they can be warded off.

The convenient option

Both affiliate marketing and drop shipping are potential and offer great opportunity to earn from home. However, affiliate marketing is more convenient as at one stage it becomes automated source of income. Drop shipping is a good option but it is still trying to make an impact in an area where affiliate programs are ruling.
